Swinburne 除了设计专业比较强，如果想申请他们的IT 专业通常可以用本科的课程减免硕士学位的学分（这个不是每个学校都可以），有信息系统管理专业基础的学生可以在一年内完成硕士学习（并且该专业移民职业评估60分）；学商科的专业也有机会免课。
